Elloise is one of those incredible individuals, who embarked on a journey filled with passion, hard work and dedication.

Elloise started her journey back in 2018, weighing 107kg. After losing 30kg by 2019, Elloise not only dropped the weight, but learned how to love her body and appreciate fitness for the empowerment it gave her. Now, Elloise wants to help empower others and be a role model to those in her community trying to lead a healthier and happier life.⁣⁠

After learning a number of things along the way, Elloise shares her advice for anyone starting their fitness journey!

Take it slow and steady, it’s not a race. 

Your journey will be a rollercoaster. You will have bad days, miss a workout or not stick to your meal plan here and there- and that’s okay. Progress takes time and requires consistency over the long term, so buckle up and enjoy the ride!

Do what you enjoy

There are so many different ways to exercise and meal plans you can follow. You don’t have to stick to a restrictive diet to reach your goals and it's important to find something that works for you. Your health and fitness journey may be challenging at times, but it should also be enjoyable, so you can actually stick to it.

Don’t compare your journey to others

Comparison is the thief of joy. Everyone is different and will progress differently. In the fitness industry, there are so many people with lean physiques and it may seem like they live the perfect life. The truth is, you shouldn't compare yourself to anyone. Why? Because we’re all amazing in our own way. Find that part of you and embrace it instead of trying to be like someone else.
